I've worked for hundreds of independent publishers since September 1996, and many have been back for seconds, thirds...Some have been working regularly with me for several years.

My fee is $195 per hour for most services, and $195 per hour plus 1% on direct mail letters or advertising copy, with a one-hour minimum on most projects. The typical publishing release takes 1-1/2 to 2-1/4 hours the first time I work on a book, somewhat less on subsequent releases.

- A copy of the book (and previous book, if you've already done a related title)
- Any press/promotional materials you've created
- Testimonials and Endorsements
- Clippings of any press you've received (including those from previous books)
- Information on the purpose and audience for the release (flier, brochure, web page, etc.)
- Either a credit card number with expiration date or a deposit check for $195
