You work directly with me, Shel Horowitz. I do the strategic consulting and write the marketing copy. If you need the services of a designer, indexxer, or other professional, I will pull in someone from my trusted network fo vendors, cultivatfed over many years. I've worked for hundreds of independent publishers since September 1996, and many have been back for seconds, thirds...Some have been working regularly with me for years.

My fee is $195 per hour for most services, and $195 per hour plus 1% of project revenue on direct mail letters or advertising copy, with a one-hour minimum on most projects. Certain items (including press releases and book cover copy) are at a fixed price, so no matter how complicated, your project is, you know exactly what it will cost.

- A copy of the book (and previous book, if you've already done a related title)
- Any press/promotional materials you've created
- Testimonials and Endorsements
- Clippings of any press you've received (including those from previous books)
- Information on the purpose and audience for the release (flier, brochure, web page, etc.)
- Either a credit card number with expiration date or a deposit check for $195

Shel Horowitz, Director of Accurate Writing & More, has been helping clients achieve marketing success since he was a teenager.
